Spray Nine® FAQ's
- Can I use this product to clean my air conditioner?
Spray
Nine® can be used effectively on the exterior only. Do not
apply Spray Nine ® on the coils and do not allow to dry on the
surface. We do not recommend this product for areas that cannot
be properly rinsed.
- Can I clean stains from my carpet with this product?
Yes,
Spray Nine® is excellent at treating stains on carpet and
clothing. However, be sure to spot test on an inconspicuous
portion of the fabric to determine colorfastness and surface
integrity before use.
For Carpets:
- Immediately soak up as much liquid as possible and remove any solid
soils.
- Spray stains / soils with Spray Nine®.
- Tap with a soft bristled brush and blot with a clean cloth or towel.
Do not scrub as this can harm the fibers and further embed the stain
into the carpet.
For Clothing:
- Spray stains / soils and tap with an old toothbrush.
- Immediately put clothing into the washing machine.
- Does Spray Nine® still kill HIV-1?
Yes, the product still kills
HIV-1, the virus associated with AIDS. We no longer include our "kills
HIV-1" statement on retail packages; however, Spray Nine® in those
packages retains this benefit (with scientific documentation available to
back the claim). We still carry the claim on labels for our industrial
sizes.
- Can I use this product to kill germs on myself, pets, livestock or
other animals?
No, Spray Nine® is not intended for personal or veterinary
use. Contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin should be avoided.
- Can I clean wood kitchen cabinets with this product?
No, we do not
recommend using the product on wood surfaces since many wood surfaces have
been treated, and Spray Nine® may remove the finish.

loosen any hardened food and grease deposits, and then follow
label directions.
- Can I clean exterior parts of my grill such as painted
surfaces with BBQ Grill Cleaner?
Yes, but always spot test an
inconspicuous portion of the surface by applying a small amount

dry on any surfaces.

BBQ Grill Cleaner for the inside of your oven. However, you may
use it to clean the exterior of your oven and stovetop. Please
