Power Kleen FAQ's
-
What does low emulsifying mean?
Low emulsifying solutions
like Power Kleen cause oily soils, such as grease, to separate
more completely from water. When used in conjunction with
oil/water separators and other pollution abatement systems, more
grease from the rinsate rises to the top of the tank. This
allows for a better skim that provides easier recycling and
greater reclamation of grease.
-
What does a low pH mean, and why does it matter?
The pH
scale ranges from 0 (strong acid) to 7 (neutral) to 14 (strong
base [alkaline]). Many cleaning products traditionally fall in
the strong alkaline range (12-13). This helps ensure strong
cleaning results. Power Kleen is alkaline, but it features a
milder pH (9.8) This makes it safer to the user, surface and
environment. Power Kleen's ability to clean like a high pH
alkaline solution, yet feature a safer, milder pH is achieved
through "buffered alkalinity."
